The Hana series of flower candles are unscented floating candles designed after the Japanese wagashi, delicate confections served during tea ceremony. They represent 12 different flowers that bloom throughout the changing seasons. All of 12 kinds of the candles are assorted in a lovely box.
The Hana series of candles reflect the spiritual culture of Japan. It is the custom to remember the passing of loved ones by lighting a candle on the monthly anniversary of their death. Originally candles were simple white sticks, but Pegasus candle has developed 12 types of traditional Japanese flowers as a motif. With delicately designed to the highest detail, the flower candles tell the turning of the seasons as one honors the monthly anniversary of their loved ones.

The Kangetsu series of candles are designed after the custom of moon viewing held during the autumn season to celebrate the harvest moon.
Iroka: Each scented candle represents the pale full moon in the four seasons.
Yume: The surface of the moon and the four seasons are reflected in the delicate etching adorned on the outside of each candle.
The custom of moon viewing in the autumn season is shown in Japanese modern society through songs, art, moon shaped delicacies and moon-viewing parties. The Kangetsu series of candles reflect this affinity for the moon in their size, shape and color.
The Kangetsu candles are made of special wax to float in the bath. Turn off the lights, relax and enjoy “the moon light” from our uniquely crafted Kangetsu candles.
